Abstract
Pomemben vplivni dejavnik pri merjenju pretoka z laminarnim merilnikom pretoka je tudi vrsta plina. V primeru uporabe merilnika z različnimi plini je umerjanje merilnika za vse pline lahko ekonomsko neugodno. V nalogi smo zato raziskali, ali je možno z enostavno računsko korekcijo dobiti ustrezne rezultate izmerjenega pretoka plina, ki je drugačen od tistega, za katerega je merilnik umerjen oz. nastavljen. Eksperimentalno smo z laminarnim merilnikom pretoka, nastavljenim za merjenje zraka, pomerili pretoke dušika in kisika. Iz pridobljenih izmerkov smo s korekcijskim modelom, ki upošteva razmerje viskoznosti dejanskega in referenčnega plina in temelji na Poiseuillovem zakonu, pridobili dovolj natančne rezultate, ki so nam pokazali, da je predlagana korekcija učinkovita.

Title:Flow measurements of different gases with a laminar flow meter
Abstract:
When using a laminar flowmeter for measuring flow rate, the type of gas plays an important role. Calibration of the flow meter for each gas may be economically inconvenient when using a flowmeter for different gases. The aim of this work was to determine whether a simple computational correction could be used to obtain suitable flow rate results for a gas, which is different to the one the flowmeter was calibreted (set) for. Experimental results were obtained by measuring flow rates of nitrogen and oxygen using a laminar flowmeter calibrated for air. The correction that was applied to experimental measurements accounts for the ratio of viscosities of actual and reference gas and is based on Poiseuille Law, gave a sufficiently accurate results, demonstrating the appropriateness of the use of the proposed correction.
