In this master thesis, we upgraded a DLP stereolithography printer that works on the principle of crosslinking a photopolymer resin using ultraviolet (UV) light from a DLP-projector. For precise products, there are many factors that can affect the quality of the print. We provided mixing the resin at the bottom of the pool after the production of each layer. We designed and made the new build platform on which we were building the product, made an air filtration system, upgraded the software and hardware for controlling the peripheral units of the printer, and made some of its functional components. We carried out a simple test to determine the repeatability of printed products, which is 34 μm in the x-direction, 70 μm in the y-direction and 146 μm in the z-direction (95% confidence limit). The height of the layer was 75 μm.
