Abstract
S podpisom mirovnega sporazuma v Daytonu s strani predstavnikov Bosne in Hercegovine, Srbije in Hrvaške se je vojna v Bosni in Hercegovini zaključila.

Title:The role of International Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina after the war
Abstract:
By putting signatures on the Dayton Peace Agreement representatives of BiH, Serbia and Croatia ended the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina. DPA provided blueprint for future development of post.war Bosnian state. Democratization process was steered by the International Community, which assumed over time active role in state-building, legal, and socio-economic policy- and decision-making processes thereby shaping Bosnia as we know it today. Initially envisaged as short-term involvement, IC's mission morphed into long-term involvement, which even today did not succeed in meeting all initially stated objectives. By assuming responsibility in democratization process IC heavily influenced relations between two entities and DB, which comprise today's BIH.
