The first part the master thesis analyses the question regarding the true author of the former Bloudek ski jumping hill in Planica. It is unclear whether the author is Stanko Bloudek or Ivan Rožman. Since the ski jumping hill no longer exists, analysis of ski jumping hill plans was required. Two plans were available from each author. The geometry of the slopes was vectorized based on the drawings, the geometrical elements and their parameters shown on the plans. Using the similarity transformation method a comparison was calculated between the slope geometries. To determine the similarity between a pair of slopes the average elevation difference along the entire slope and along a small area around the K point was used. The goal of the second part of this thesis was to test the possibility and accuracy of determining the position of a ski jumper during the jump using the single photo photogrammetry method with unprofessional GoPro cameras. The test area was the ski jumping hill Bauhenk in Kranj with junior ski jumpers performing the test jumps. A geodetic network was deployed in the area made of control points which were used to calculate the extrinsic camera parameters. The cameras were calibrated using a test field to calculate intrinsic camera parameters. Accuracy analysis was performed using some of the control points and deviation was calculated between the position in the geodetic network and the position determined with the photogrammetry method.
