Types of stress, factors, and symptoms of stress, signs and the course of burnout, methods of prevention, and consequences of both stress and burnout are presented. In the empirical part, research was conducted with the help of the survey method among the employees of the Health Center Novo mesto. The purpose of the research was to determine how stress and burnout are experienced and how employees are affected.
