Abstract
V diplomskem delu sta preučeni področji stresa in izgorelosti zaposlenih.

Title:ANALYSIS OF STRESS AND BURNOUT AT THE WORKPLACE IN A HEALTH CENTRE NOVO MESTO
Abstract:
Stress is present in every individual's life. Individuals encounter it in both private and professional life. If an individual does not know how to properly react in stressful situations, he may experience physical and mental health problems. Too long exposure to stress often leads to burnout. The bachelor’s thesis examines the fields of stress and burnout of employees. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the descriptive method is used, by means of which the concept of stress and burnout is defined. Types of stress, factors, and symptoms of stress, signs and the course of burnout, methods of prevention, and consequences of both stress and burnout are presented. In the empirical part, research was conducted with the help of the survey method among the employees of the Health Center Novo mesto. The purpose of the research was to determine how stress and burnout are experienced and how employees are affected. The results of the research showed that the employees of the Health Centre Novo mesto are at risk primarily with low levels of stress and experience low burnout. It was ascertained that women and employees in non-management positions and doctors are more at risk because of stress and burnout or with a higher level of stress and burnout. The survey also showed that employees make the right decisions in stressful situations. Despite positive results of the research, the organization is advised to provide employees with assistance in reducing stress and burnout by involving employees in decision-making, education and communication, and workshops to help employees to deal with stress and burnout properly.
