The master's thesis describes the entire process of automatization of efficiency measurements for motor controller.
Firstly the possibilities for realization of automatization of efficiency measurements on the existing system were checked, on which we have manually performed the measurements to date. The measuring equipment and manual measurement procedure are also described in this section of the paper as well as the most appropriate possible design for the implementation of automatization. Next the paper presents the possibilities of upgrading the existing measuring system and its connectivity with external devices. On this basis, a possible architecture of the program is described as well as the choice of the programming language for the creation of the program and the user interface.
Detailed description of program for automatization of efficiency measurements is described in the second part of the paper where we find out the basic structure of architecture of the program and its individual layers and their role. Next the flow chart and process of performing of the main function of the program, which is executing measurements, is described. In the last section the paper include user manual of the program and example of automated measurement result as well as comparison between manual and automated measurements.
Finally possible improvements and upgrades of the program are suggested, with which we would be able to measure the efficiency of the entire drive system.
