Abstract
Magistrsko delo obravnava podobe matere v izbranih dramskih delih Federica Garcíe Lorce. Prvi del naloge se prične s kratko predstavitvijo podobe matere s teoretičnega vidika, zatem sledi tipologija mater. V drugem delu je predstavljeno življenje in ustvarjanje enega bolj znanih španskih avtorjev prejšnega stoletja. Na podlagi njegovih izjav je predstavljen njegov pogled na gledališče. V zadnjem delu naloge sledi analiza izbranih dramskih del, s pomočjo katere sledi primerjava podob mater v dramskih delih Federica Garcíe Lorce s tipologijo mater, ki je narejena v prvem delu naloge. Na koncu naloge je tudi krajše poglavje z možnimi razlogi za neprisotnost moških v Lorcovih dramah.

Title:Symbols of the mothers in dramas of Federico García Lorca
Abstract:
Master’s thesis interprets the mother-figure in the chosen works of Federico Garcia Lorca. It begins with a brief presentation of mother’s figure from the theoretical point of view, then it is followed by typology of mothers. The life and work of one of the most famous Spanish authors of the last century is presented in the second part of the thesis. His views and attitudes are represented on behalf of his statements about the theatre. In the last part there is an analysis about the chosen Lorca’s plays considering the role of the mother-figure in comparison with the typology of the first part of the thesis. At the end there is also a shorter chapter about the possible reasons of the absence of men in Lorca’s plays.
