Abstract
Proizvodni trg postaja čedalje bolj konkurenčen. Večje so potrebe po odstranjevanju stroškov zastojev, nepravilne postavitve proizvodnih sistemov, slabo definiranih materialnih tokov, nepravilnih parametrov strojev ter transportnih sistemov in zapravljanj v proizvodnji. Podjetja stremijo po vitkosti ne samo v svojih proizvodnih oddelkih, ampak tudi v projektnem vodenju, konstrukterstvu, dizajniranju, logistiki itd. Dosego vitkosti oziroma odpravljanje zapravljanj v proizvodnji dosežejo z uporabo že ustaljenih orodij. Dve izmed teh orodij sta analiza toka vrednosti in simulacija proizvodnih procesov s pomočjo programske opreme. Njuna souporaba in vpliv ene na drugo še ni dobro raziskan. Prav to bomo preverili na praktičnem primeru realnega izdelka v proizvodnji podjetja.

Title:The impact of value stream analysis on production process simulation
Abstract:
The competition in production market is increasing. The need to eliminate congestion costs, improper installation of production systems, poorly defined material flows, incorrect machine parameters, transport systems and production waste are becoming more and more important. Production companies try to achieve the principles of lean production and to incorporate those principles in project management, design, construction, logistics, transport etc. They try to achieve lean principles with elimination of waste in production by using already established tools. Two of these tools are value stream analysis and production process simulation with the use of computer software. The shared use of both these tools and their influence on one another has not yet been well researched. Those two factors are going to be explored in a practical example of a production of a real product.
