With this Thesis we analized the points and condition of the maintenance of forest roads in the municioality Ribnica. We wanted to examine how the conditions have changed and analyze the effectiveness of existing measures of maintenance. On the basis of a methodology and random model hektometers sections, we have made an assessment of the maintenance and upgrade of the results from Hribernik in 2004. In the analysis of past spending, we found that there is no significant difference between the use of state and private forests or within different categories of forest roads. By analyzing the situation, we found that there is no sections without damage at least there are problems of upper structure. Especially critical are sections with all types of injuries. We found that the resources allocated to road maintenance are insufficient for rebuilding of any damage, it would be necessary to obtain additional funds. There should also be consideration of the advisability of maintaining only mechanically, because we believe that it would be possible to solve some of these damages manually. The supervision of the roads, which are less important for forest management would be needed.
