The thesis addresses the development of software for electric longboard, as part of joint project with colleague Jan Jereb thesis Electric powered longboard, which describes the development of hardware and electronic components for the longboard.
In the first part of thesis, the hardware platform, for which the software was designed, is described. The reader is familiarized with the concept of BLDC engines and remote controlling the vehicle using a Bluetooth remote controller.
The concept of the complete software is roughly outlined, with some parts of code, which seem more interesting or complex than others, described in more details. Finally, some issues and challenges that author had to deal with are presented, alongside a few suggestions of improving the software.
