Abstract
Uvod: Mladostniki se vključujejo v različne skupine vrstnikov in prijateljev. V tem obdobju se pojavijo nove potrebe, kot so sprejetost, pripadnost skupini in po čustveni podpori. Mladostniki, ki niso sprejeti v družbo, so osamljeni. Velikokrat so žrtve medvrstniškega nasilja. Namen: V diplomskem delu smo predstavili vlogo in naloge šolske medicinske sestre pri obravnavi medvrstniškega nasilja, kako medvrstniško nasilje preprečimo in prepoznamo ter predstavili vlogo žrtve in nasilneža. Metode dela: Uporabili smo deskriptivno metodo dela s pregledom literature. Iskanje virov je potekalo med februarjem in julijem 2018. Literatura je bila iskana v angleškem jeziku z iskalnim nizom bullying in school AND school nurse. Uporabljeni sta bili podatkovni bazi ScienceDirect in CINAHL with full text. V končno analizo smo vključili 14 člankov. Rezultati: Šolska medicinska sestra ima pomembno vlogo pri preprečevanju in prepoznavanju različnih vlog v medvrstniškem nasilju. Tako učenci kot učitelji vidijo šolsko medicinsko sestro kot osebo, kateri lahko zaupajo. Pri prepoznavanju medvrstniškega nasilja in vlog v njem se uporabljajo različna orodja. Šolske medicinske sestre se pri reševanju tega nasilja povezujejo in sodelujejo z drugimi strokovnjaki in šolskimi sodelavci. Svoje znanje morajo nenehno dopolnjevati. Pomembno je prepoznavati ponavljajoče se znake, ki se pojavljajo pri učencih in lahko kažejo na prisotnost medvrstniškega nasilja. Razprava in sklep: Medicinske sestre imajo v tujini pomembne in številne vloge pri medvrstniškem nasilju. Na svojem področju delujejo z otroki in mladostniki, sodelavci, starši. Izvajajo preventivno in kurativno dejavnosti. V slovenskih šolah je ob učencu večino časa prisoten učitelj. Učitelji se počutijo odgovorne za svoje učence tudi, ko se pojavijo zdravstveni problemi. Diplomirane medicinske sestre se vključujejo v obravnavo šoloobveznih otrok samo v okviru sistemskih pregledov, ki se izvajajo v zdravstvenih domovih. Iz pregleda literature smo ugotovili pomembnost vključenosti medicinske sestre pri obravnavi medvrstniškega nasilja, zato bi bilo smiselno vključiti profil šolske medicinske sestre tudi v slovenski šolski prostor. S svojim preventivnim delovanjem bi lahko naredili pomemben korak k odkrivanju in zmanjševanju medvrstniškega nasilja ter zagotavljanju kontinuitete pomoči in oskrbe žrtvam in nasilnežem.

Title:The role of a nurses in dealing with bullying: literature review : diploma work
Abstract:
Introduction: Adolescents form part of various groups of peers and friends. New needs arise in such period, such as acceptance, affiliation with the group and seeking emotional support. Adolescents who are not admitted to society are lonely. They are often victims of peer violence. Purpose: In this diploma thesis, we presented the role and tasks of a school nurse in dealing with peer violence, how preventive violence is prevented and recognized, the role of the victim and the violator. Methodology: We used a descriptive working method with literature review. The search for resources took place between February and July 2018. Literature was searched in English with the search word bullying at school AND school nurse. MEDLINE and CINAHL databases with full text have been used. In the final analysis we included 14 articles. Results: A school nurse plays an important role in preventing and recognizing the different roles in peer violence. Both pupils and teachers consider a school nurse as a person they can trust. Various tools are used to identify peer violence and the related roles thereof. School nurses connect to and cooperate with other professionals and school staff when dealing with such violence. They need to constantly improve their knowledge. It is important to recognize the repeating signs as these arise with scholars and which may indicate the presence of peer violence. Discussion and conclusion: Nurses do have important roles in the field of peer violence in the foreign areas. In their field, they work with children and adolescents, colleagues and parents. They undertake preventive and curative activities. In Slovenian schools, a teacher is present for most of the time. Teachers also feel responsible for their scholars when health problems arise. Graduated nurses are involved in the treatment of school-going children only in the framework of systemic examinations as carried out in health centres. From the literature review, we found out the importance of the involvement of the nurse in the treatment of peer violence, so it would be useful to include the profile of the school nurse in the Slovenian school premises. Through their preventive activities, they could make an important step towards the detection and reduction of peer violence and ensuring the continuity of assistance and help to victims and violators.
