Abstract
V diplomskem delu sem primerjala romana Filio ni doma in Esej o slepoti.

Abstract:
In the thesis, I have compared two novels, Filio is not at home and the Essay on blindness. Filio is not at home deals with a closed island community with a strict social regime, which they use to cause the highest level of alienation between people while in the Essay on blindness the whole population goes blind and gradually due to harsh conditions find them self on the level of primitive man. Both novels show the decline of moral values, in both the events are not defined by time or by space, sexuality appears as a means for manipulation, the main woman character in both novels is a harbinger of change as it fights against the situation and the government. The end in both novels is a positive one as the previous situation is resolved and the moral values survive.
