Abstract
Katere grozote so jo navdihnile?

Abstract:
In-Yer-Face Theatre emerged in the 90s in Great Britain. Sarah Kane, one of the main representatives of the genre, said she wanted to write about what she saw. So what exactly did she write about? Which horrifying events inspired her works? What did she find so important that she wanted to share with her audience? And what inspired the works of the Slovenian author Draga Potočnjak? Because they include certain distinctive features, her plays could also be described as in-yer-face plays. Two women - one of them British and the other Slovenian - have created several plays that will similarly shock the readers. Are there any other similarities between the authors and their works or are the cultures they are coming from too diverse? I believe that there are more similarities than differences between them and that definitive answers to all these questions lie in their plays.
