The paper discusses the interpretations of the "Act of Antigone" in different readdings of Antigone trough history in the domain of Psychoanalysis and Philosophy. The main duty of this paper is to reserch the problem of kinship and how it reflects on the Act of Antigone, burying his brother. The idea is to emphasize interpretation of Hegel, as described in Phenomenology of Spirit, as well as interpretation of feminist readdings, conceptualizing Antigone as female prniciple and their research of gender trouble. To understand the drive behind the Antigone`s Act, we have to search in the domain of Lacan`s Psychoanalysis and his freudian based studies of desire. In conclusion we end up in Judith Butler`s criticism of heterosexual matrix and the problem of gender based on outdated structures of kinship.
