Tema Lepe Vide v slovenskem romanu med letoma 1955 in 2007 : diplomsko delo

Diplomsko delo obravnava temo Lepe Vide in motivov, ki tvorijo to temo v izbranih slovenskih romanih med letoma 1955 in 2007. Najprej sem se osredotočila na pregled predhodnic Lepe Vide in na predelave te teme v ljudski in umetni književnosti, nato pa sem se posvetila analizi izbranih štirih romanov. Že obstoječe študije na temo Lepe Vide kažejo, da ima ta tema pomembno zgodovinsko vlogo v slovenski književnosti. Izmed treh inačic te teme je najbolj znan tip, v katerem zamorec ugrabljeno ženo odpelje v Španijo, kjer ona nato doji kraljičinega sina, pri sodobnejših obdelavah pa je raba teme veliko bolj kompleksna. Analiza izbranih štirih romanov je pokazala, da tema Lepe Vide navadno ni glavna tema obravnavanih del in ni rabljena z vsemi sestavnimi motivi, temveč so pogosteje uporabljeni posamezni motivi, kot so hrepenenje, skušnjava, odhod v tujino itd.

Abstract

This thesis deals with the theme of Beautiful Vida and motifs that form this theme in chosen Slovenian novels from year 1955 to 2007. First I focused my research on predecessors of Beautiful Vida and on transformations of this theme in folk literature and authorial literature; later on I focused on the analysis of four chosen novels. Existing studies on the topic of Beautiful Vida show that this theme has an important historical role in Slovenian literature. Of the three versions of this theme the most recognized type is the one in which a man with darker skin kidnaps the young wife and takes her to Spain, where she becomes a wet nurse for the queen's son. The use of this theme is much more complex in modern novels. Analysis of selected four novels showed that the theme of Beautiful Vida is not the main theme of chosen works and it's not used with all the motifs that it consists of but the more commonly used individual motifs are longing, temptation, going abroad etc.
