Singing is the most common form of musical engagement in the pre-school period. Within this framework the development of children is pervaded with experiencing and researching of the audio world. The musical environment at the high quality level enables the child to excite the joy of music, stimulate the experience of music and develops musical capabilities and skills.
In the theoretical part, the role and significance of singing, the goals of singing, the development of musical and singing ability of preschool children and their vocal volume were defined as the starting point. Afterwards we focused on the design of the singing program, presented its segments and performed the implementation of singing exercise.
In the empirical section, we examined the qualifications of the educators to work with the choir, which criteria are used by the educators in choosing a song and a singing program, which were most frequently sang by composers in the pre-school period, and we also tried to establish which problems teachers encounter in their work and what expertise they still lack to lead and work with the choir in the kindergarten.
