This master's degree thesis deals with electricity quality in a specific industrial enviroment.
At the beginning, a review of basic topics is presented with the example of electicity quality measurement at a certain part of the industrial network for the needs of the simulation. The measurements were performed at different loads in order to obtain data for several different scenarios. Afterwards, the data processing and implementation of the simulation network in the PSCAD software package are presented. Influence of the connection of the parallel active filter to the load collector was the simulation’s focus, as well as the contribution, made to electricity quality.
Lastly, testing of a real active harmonic filter in a transformer station was done. Effects of filter in the system were examined with the help of power analyzers.
