Abstract
Med razvojem talilnega elementa se je pojavila potreba po izračunu vrednosti Joulovega talilnega integrala. V pričujočem magistrskem delu je izdelan simulacijski program za njen izračun. Vrednost Joulovega talilnega integrala je izračunana s pomočjo simulacije v simulacijskem programu COMSOL Multiphysics. Uporabljena je analiza z metodo končnih elementov. Pri izračunu se upošteva čas, v katerem talilni element doseže temperaturo tališča bakra, in potek električnega toka, ki teče skozi talilni element in je določen s pomočjo električnega vezja. Rezultati simulacije so preverjeni z laboratorijskimi meritvami Joulovega talilnega integrala. Za lažji izračun je izdelana aplikacija. Rezultati pokažejo, da se s simulacijo dokaj dobro opiše dogajanje v talilnem elementu med talilnim časom pri prekinjanju kratkostičnega toka, saj se izračunana vrednost Joulovega talilnega integrala zelo dobro ujema z meritvami Joulovega talilnega integrala v laboratoriju na izdelanih talilnih vložkih. V prihodnje bi bilo treba razviti še simulacijski program za izračun vrednosti Joulovega obločnega integrala. S tem bi imeli popisan celoten čas prekinjanja kratkostičnega toka. Uporabnost tega se kaže pri določanju selektivnosti talilnih vložkov. Prav tako bi s simulacijo teoretično podkrepili znanje o dogajanju v talilnem vložku med prekinjanjem kratkostičnega toka.

Title:Calculation of Joule pre-arcing integral with a co-simulation model of the fuse-link
Abstract:
During the development of the fuse-element there was a need to calculate the Joule pre-arcing integral. The main goal of the master thesis is to make a simulation program of the Joule pre arcing integral calculation. The calculation of the Joule pre-arcing integral was done by a simulation in the COMSOL Multiphysics program using the finite element method. The study is based on the time in which the fuse element reaches the melting temperature of copper. The course of electric current flowing through the fuse-element and determined by the electric circuit also taken into account. The simulation results are verified by laboratory measurements of the Joule pre arcing integral. An application for easy calculation is created. Results demonstrate a good approximation of the effects in the fuse-element during the pre arcing time while breaking the short-circuit current. The calculated Joule pre arcing integral corresponds to the measurements of the Joule pre-arcing integral of manufactured fuse-links in the laboratory. In the future, it would be necessary to develop the simulation program of the Joule arcing integral calculation. This would allow us to have a better insight into whole time of breaking the short-circuit current. The usefulness of this is reflected on discrimination test of fuse-links determination. On the other hand, the simulation would theoretically substantiate the knowledge of events in the fuse-link during the breaking of the short-circuit current.
