Abstract

Title:FREE TRADE AGREEMENTS AS AN IMPORTANT FACTOR IN INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS
Abstract:
The development of the economy and the adoption of Free trade agreements has brought great changes in the business world, which were expressed through the process of globalization as economic, political, legal and cultural activities. The diversification of international business caused the internationalization of companies. Its influence is reflected as an increase of international experience and knowledge, technological progress and new opportunities. The actions of foreign policy creates changes in legislation and the establishment of quality international relations based on diplomacy. The countries and institution’s legislative bodies play an active role in the creation of international economic agreements and control their regulation. Over the years, a lot of agreements have been developed in the field of global trade, and TTIP and CETA have been echoing in the public in the recent years. The paper presents the content aspect of the agreements, their comparison and the impact on the economy of the participating actors. The purpose of a substantive analysis of the agreements is to determine the meaningfulness of the adoption of agreements and to present their effects on cases in practice. I have found that the overall structure, scope and objectives of CETA and TTIP agreements are very similar, but due to the compromises and bargaining power of individual parties, if TTIP will ever be adopted, the content will vary considerably. The analysis of agreements has its impact on the social environment, as it shows the actual situation and the real facts that the wider public will have to face when the trade agreement is introduced, as well as the benefits the economy will have with proper reactions.
