Abstract
Diplomsko delo vsebuje potrebne informacije za izdelavo keramičnih posod v kontekstu doline Trente. Opisuje nastanek gline ter njene lastnosti in kratke napotke, ki so pomembni pri oblikovanju s samim materialom. Predstavi značilnosti omenjenih tipičnih trentarskih jedi ter se opira na sodoben pristop v kulinariki in dizajnu. Hkrati vključuje tudi zgodovinski pregled oziroma razvoj jedilnih posod in analizo izvora njihovih oblik. Vse povezuje v skupek celote, saj likovni odnosi med elementi ustvarijo pravo umetniško harmonijo. Diplomska naloga zajema celoten subjektivni proces dela od izhodišča, idej, testov, snovanja do izdelave končnega produkta – seta keramičnih posod ter lesene deske za serviranje »čomp«, skute in polente.

Title:Design of functional ceramics for tradition of Trenta's cuisine
Abstract:
The thesis contains necessary information for the production of ceramic bowls in the context of Trenta valley. It describes the origin of the clay, its properties and brief instructions, which are important for working and designing with the material. The thesis presents the characteristics of typical dishes from Trenta and relies on a contemporary approach to cooking and design. It also includes a historical review and development of cooking utensils and an analysis of the origin of their shapes. It connects everything to a whole, since the artistic relationships between the elements create a true artistic harmony. This thesis covers the whole process of work from the starting point, ideas, tests, designing, to the production of the final product - a set of ceramic bowls and a wooden board for serving of »čomp«, cottage cheese and polenta.
