In my bachelor’s thesis, I deal with the dirt and grime that the body creates. It is a consequence of being and it is present everywhere we are. The body constantly leaves traces that can be visible, less visible or even invisible to us.
Within this field, I started to collect certain grime, which I then took in a more detailed insight and started to create with it. Thus, on the one hand, I deal with my own grime that explores and speaks about the existence and awareness of one's own body. On the other hand, I explore space in a wider context as some private space and some public space. The many layers of dirt, dust, and grime are created over time and they exist for us in the boundary between visible and invisible. This became the material that served me as a starting point for the artworks presented in this thesis.
