Football is one of the most popular sports of modern times. Due to its rapid global progress and increased competitveness, the players are faced with greater challenges to reach and remain in their prime. In order for competing athletes to reach their optimal levels, they must develop a high level of psychomotor skills. They can achive this with quality sports preparation.
The sports industry, comprising of league competition mode, such as football, is characterized by two competitive and very short preparatory periods. In order to develop the athlete's abilities in a relatively short period of time, we must interlace and connect the various fitness capacities. In this diploma research, we present the optimal simultaneous development of strength and endurance of football players.
The purpose of this diploma research is to define and present the areas that are important for the design and cyclization when developing endurance and power, adapted for football players aged 16 to 17 years. Since the puberty period is a large factor for the research subjects, the principles of biological and physical development are also presented.
