Abstract
Opisi metod in meritev tlaka so predstavljeni v sledečem delu in predstavljajo vpogled v trenutno stanje tega področja medicine.

Title:
Electronic patient simulator for the invasive blood pressure measurement
Abstract:
In this thesis we describe development and realization of electronic patient simulator for invasive blood pressure measurement. Also there is a description of simple program that simulates static and dynamic signals. The main purpose of this thesis is to develop basic functioning prototype circuit which is suitable for calibration of invasive blood pressure measurement module on devices used in medicine. Firstly we make a short overview on the medical devices and simulators, fields of use and we also mention Slovenian companies that make such devices. Than we take a look at functioning of hearth muscle which is directly related to blood pressure and some history of blood pressure measurement. Next we take a look in blood pressure measurement so we get an overview in current state in medicine on that field. The main part of the thesis describes our device and its performance. Our device was developed based on specifications from our customer and has to return the same value based on the excitation voltage and setting that real invasive blood pressure probe would under the same settings. Main part of our device is digital to analog converter which output signal is conditioned with some additional circuit in such a way that output meets the specification. Program code was developed for the purpose of simulating functions of the device and provides basic measurement results.
