Abstract
Zaradi tehnoloških razlogov in specifičnih lastnosti uporabljenih materialov klasične metode vijačenja in vročega spajanja niso vedno uporabne, zato je potrebno najti alternative.

Title:Positioning of optical components in laser resonator
Abstract:
Precise positioning of optical components is irritating and time consuming process in medical laser industry where high precision and low uncertainty is the paramount goal. Not only does the slight misalignment of optical components reduce the laser beam output power but it also affects the laser’s thermal balance and total efficiency. Due to technological reasons, feasibility and material features, classical methods of joining parts with bolts or screws and welding usually fail. Therefore, an alternative solution is often needed. In this paperwork we researched effects of adhesive bonding and soft soldering on positioning of optical components as alternative solutions to these classical methods and possibility to attain final position with minimum angular deviation with respect to starting position and low uncertainty. In addition, we analysed effects of soldering on birefringence of YAG crystal and influence of soldering on thermal stabilisation of Nd:YAG crystal.
