The diploma thesis discusses the problem of assessing the efficiency of work centers in an individual production. To calculate the efficiency of the work centers we used a method of overall equipment efficiency – OEE. In order to get the correct data, we introduced in the information system MES a module for recording the downtimes and compared the normative times with the actually time, used for the execution of the work operations. With the acquired data we calculated the collective efficiency of the equipment – OEE and corresponding indicators. We found out that the planned occupancy of the work centers is much higher than the actual efficiency of the work centers. At the end we also offered a proposition for the improvement of recording the downtimes and for better efficiency of the work centers.
