The author of the master thesis analyses the question of sexisms within the LGBT+ community. The analysis deals with different aspects of sexisms as a form of oppression within the social group oppressed because of sexual orientation and gender identity. The author uses theoretical conceptualizations of patriarchy, sexisms and masculinities in contemporary feminist theory and conceptualizations of normativity in queer theory. Methodology used in this work includes secondary analysis and interviews of members of the LGBT+ community in Ljubljana. The thesis shows how different forms of sexism within the LGBT+ community affect people who are gender non-conforming or are positioned as feminine. The work based on qualitative methodology shows how intertwinement of sexual orientation and gender identity, based on femininity and gender non-conformity, within the LGBT+ community creates and perpetuates the hierarchy of oppressed identities.
