Body preparation for players in team sports is a big factor for the end result of matches. Body preparation is, with the understanding od technics and tactics, an important factor that determines the intensity of a match. With preparation of lacrosse players, as with other sports, the body preparation must be appropriate and planned. Player rolles in lacrosse are: attacker, midfielder, defensive player and goalie. As the roles of players differ, so do theskills and conditioning they need. In this thesis we look at the differences between each role. We tested 9 lacrosse players from Lacrosse Olimpija club and used their results as data for comparison. The batteries for conditioning were: running 2400 meters, 100 meter dash, distance jump, fan test and 400 meters run. The conclusions of this thesis will be helpful for conditioning of Olimpija lacrosse players in the coming seasons and also as a manual for conditioning for future clubs. This work will be a baseline for ongoing research of this sport in Slovenia.
