One of the services of the public library is the implementation of organized activities for children. Withthis, they want to encourage the development of reading, and children get used to the library as soon as possible. The master's thesis deals with organized activities for children in the Dr. France Škerl Library and in the Domţale Library. We wanted to find out whether the preschool and school children who are attending the library are satisfied with the organized activities. Three different methods were used in the study: observation, interview and survey. The results show that children are satisfied with activities in both libraries. Parents and librarians are satisfied with organized activities, too.
