Abstract
V diplomskem delu so predstavljene različne tehnologije obdelovanja materiala. Osredotočili smo se na frezanje in njegovo optimizacijo v proizvodnji. Opišemo splošno teorijo odrezavanja, frezanja, obdelave izvrtin, CNC-tehnologije itd. Glavni problem predstavlja izbira ustreznega obdelovalnega procesa. Z izbiro optimalnega obdelovalnega procesa, ki je že dolgo časa na trgu, bi lahko skrajšali obdelovalne čase, s tem pa tudi stroške proizvodnje. Za praktični del naloge smo si izbrali tri izdelke, ki smo jih obdelali na dva različna načina. V okviru praktičnega dela naloge smo izdelali 3D-modele v CAD-programu in 2D-risbe izdelkov. Najprej smo izdelke obdelovali na klasičnem frezalnem stroju, nato pa še na sodobnem CNC obdelovalnem centru, tako da je delo zajemalo tudi delo s CAM-programom. Nato smo obe tehnologiji primerjali med sabo. Zanimalo nas je, katera je primernejša za določen obdelovanec. Obdelovance smo tudi okarakterizirali, da smo na koncu na podlagi rezultatov določili metodo za izbiro optimalnega procesa. Določitev metode je bila prirejena za naše podjetje, tako da zadostuje našim potrebam. S tem smo optimizirali izbiro pravega obdelovalnega procesa na področju frezanja. Vendar bo čas po določenem obdobju pokazal, če so potrebne v metodi za izbiro kakšne korekcije.

Title:Selecting a method for choosing the optimal machining process according to batch size and complexity of the product
Abstract:
The thesis discusses different technologies for material processing. The focus was placed on milling and its optimisation in production. We described the general theory of cutting, milling, drill hole machining, CNC technology and other. However, the selection of the most appropriate machining process causes most problems. The machining time and the production costs would be reduced by choosing the optimal machining process that has been on the market for quite a while. The practical part therefore covered three products that were processed using two different techniques. We created 3D CAD models and 2D drawings of these products. The products were first processed using a conventional milling machine and then using a modern CNC machining center, which means working with a CAM software was also part of the thesis. Both technologies were then compared. The aim was to determine the right technology for specific workpieces. All of them were assessed with a view to select the method for choosing the optimal machining process based on the results. The method was specifically designed to meet the requirements of our company. This is how we optimised the selection of the appropriate milling process. Nevertheless, it remains to be seen over time whether some corrections in the method will be required.
