Igralna učinkovitost reprezentanc na Evropskem ženskem mladinskem prvenstvu 2017 v Celju : magistrsko delo

Namen in cilji: Namen magistrske naloge je ugotoviti razlike v igralni učinkovitosti med slovensko reprezentanco in njenimi tekmicami na evropskem ženskem mladinskem prvenstvu 2017 v Celju. Cilj je bil zbrati uradne podatke vseh odigranih tekem in jih statistično obdelati. S pomočjo dobljenih rezultatov smo želeli prikazati pri katerih parametrih igralne učinkovitosti se pojavljajo statistično značilne razlike med slovensko reprezentanco in njenimi tekmicami. Opravljena je bila tudi analiza iz kvalitativnega vidika. Metodologija: Na spletni strani Evropske rokometne zveze smo zbrali uradne podatke z vseh odigranih tekem in jih analizirali. Vzorec vseh tekem je predstavljal 7 tekem, ki jih je odigrala slovenska reprezentanca na evropskem ženskem mladinskem prvenstvu 2017 v Celju. Iz uradne statistike smo izbrali 18 spremenljivk, ki smo jih razdelili na parametre, povezane z aktivnostmi v napadu in na parametre, povezane z aktivnostmi v obrambi. Iz izbranih parametrov smo izoblikovali hipoteze, ki smo jih v nadaljevanju poskušali potrditi oz. ovreči. S pomočjo računalniškega programskega paketa za statistiko (SPSS), smo za vse parametre izračunali osnovne statistične značilnosti in testno statistiko. Glede na rezultate testa normalnosti porazdelitve in homogenosti varianc , smo nadaljevali s t.i. testom za neodvisne vzorce ali Mann-Whitneyevim testom, ugotavljali razlike med slovensko reprezentanco in njenimi tekmicami. Kvalitativno analizo smo opravili s pomočjo pridobljenih videoposnetkov vseh 7 tekem. Ugotovitve dela: Obstajajo statistično značilne razlike med slovensko reprezentanco in njenimi tekmicami pri naslednjih parametrih: skupno število strelov, število golov s krilnih položajev, število golov s črte 9 metrov, število tehničnih napak in število rumenih kartonov. Prav tako so razlike v modelu igre slovenske reprezentance v primerjavi z njenimi tekmicami na tem prvenstvu. Če generaliziramo rezulate ugotavljamo, da slovenske igralke manj kot večina tekmic uporabljajo strele iz razdalje in pri obrambni različici 6:0 uporabljajo manj izrazitih izpadanj na napadalke v globino.

• Title: Play efficiency of national teams at Women’s European Youth Championship 2017 in Celje.

Abstract

Purpose and goals: The purpose of this Master Thesis is to figure out the differences in play efficiency between Slovenian national team and their competitors at Women’s European Youth Championship 2017 in Celje. The goal was to collect official data of all the matches and to statistically analyse it. With the help of end results, we wanted to show, in which parameters of play efficiency can we get statistically significant differences between Slovenian national team and their opponents. We also made a qualitative analysis in the second half of this Master Thesis. Methodology: We collected the data of all the played games with the help of European Handball Federation’s website and then we analysed it. Our sample consisted of 7 championship matches, played by Slovenian team at Women’ European Youth Championship 2017 in Celje. With the help of official statistics we chose 18 variables and divided them into parameters that were connected with offence activities and those that were connected with defence activities. With the help of chosen parameters we formed a few hypothesis that we later on confirmed or rejected. We analysed the data using computer statistics software program (SPSS) – calculated all the parameters’ basic statistical characteristics and test statistics. Based on the results of normality distribution test and homogeneity of variance, we continued with the T-test for independent samples or Mann-Whitney test with the help of which we wanted to figure out the differences among the Slovenian national team and their competitors. We made qualitative analysis by watching videos of all 7 matches. Findings: We found out statistically significant differences between Slovenian national team and other competitors among the following parameters: the total number of shots, the total number of goals from the wing position, the total number of goals from the nine meter line, the number of technical errors and the number of yellow cards. We also noticed the differences in the model of the play between Slovenian team and other competitors at this European Championship. We found out the main difference in the model of the game between Slovenian team and other competitors was in the number of shots from the distance. Slovenian team didn’t manage to shoot as much from the distance as the other teams did and in the interpretation of the 6:0 system concept in wich other teams played more offensive variation of 6:0 system than Slovenian team.
