Abstract
Bistvo tekmovalnosti in ekonomske rasti predstavlja inovativnost, ki igra ključno vlogo v določanju uspeha organizacije in ji omogoča uspešno spopadanjez negotovostjo zunanjega okolja.

Abstract:
Constant changes that are occuring in today’s market are promoting and intensifiying competitivness amongst rival organisations. Organisations are forced to constantly search for, promote and establish new activities, with which they would ensure their long term success and competitive advantage. It has been acknowledged that innovation is the key factor of competitivness and economic growth, and that it plays a crucial role in enabling organisation to deal with uncertainty of external environment. In this respect there exists a critical need to understand and find appropriate ways for managing organisational culture, that will promote and encourage employee’s creative and innovative behaviour, as they play the key role in profound change process. With regard to this I conducted a complete analysis for recognizing and defining the current state of organisational culture in Iskratel, d.o.o., Kranj, the influence it has on organizational inovativness and the interconnection that exist among culture and organisational innovation system. The results of research I conducted showed that in Iskratel d.o.o., Kranj the organizational culture is indeed the main factor determining inovativeness, whereas the performed mechanisms and measures regarding this issue are proving to be succesfull in establishing the innovation culture.
