The purpose of the thesis is a complete room makeover with a budget from 100 to maximal 150 euros. Due to limited finances for the renewal and design, I had to turn to sustainability approaches of design, like recycling. The entire room is made of old wooden and textile pieces, which were part of the previous room. I started the makeover by preparing a model and designing the new room in the 3D software Blender. The 3D software enabled me to design many variations of the room. I designed a white, striped and colourful room. In the space I designed to rooms into rooms, which are serving as wardrobe and sleeping niche. This was followed by the actual room makeover and consequently the manufacturing of the furniture, bedding and baskets, which are put into the spaces in the closet. During the manufacture, I paid attention to the fact that at least 80 percent of the final product is recycled, that I do not exceed the budget and that the manufacture is as quick as possible. Through the thesis, I wanted to find out, if a room manufacture with the given budget is possible and if not, to what extent the makeover exceeds the budget.
