Prvi del je teoretični, kjer so v prvem poglavju opisani začetki in zgodovina oblikovanja znaka, zaobjeti so prvi znani pojavi vizualne komunikacije, njihov nadaljnji razvoj v piktograme in vse naprej do logotipa. V nadaljevanju so zanj zasnovana in predstavljena osnovna vizualna razpoznavna sredstva, kamor spada logotip s skicami, konstrukcijska mreža, poskus velikosti logotipa, poskus logotipa v negativu in pozitivu in uporaba tipograije. V zadnjem delu so prenesena razpoznavna sredstva na komunikacijska, kjer se oblikuje vizitke, meni pijač, obvestilo o otvoritvi in še ostale dodatke, oblikovane v namen oglaševanja in prepoznavnosti
