Abstract
Magistrsko delo obravnava razvoj novega koncepta stikala zapore vrat pralnega stroja. Trenutno proizvajajo dve vrsti zapore vrat, vendar se pojavljajo želje kupcev po novih zaporah vrat z nižjo porabo energije. Prototip nove zapore vrat bo vseboval zlitine z oblikovnim spominom, ki izvedejo potrebni pomik pri zaklepanju in odklepanju vrat. Izdela se delujoči koncept, ki izpolnjuje vse funkcijske zahteve stikala zapore vrat in ki bo temelj nadaljnjega razvoja in testiranja.

Title:Development of the electromechanical door lock of the washing machine using shaped memory materials
Abstract:
The master's thesis deals with the development of a new prototype door lock used in washing machines. At present, two types of door locks are being produced, but there are customer requirements for a new door locks with lower energy consumption. The prototype of the new door closure will include shape memory alloys that perform the necessary movement in locking and unlocking of the door. A working concept is developed that meets all the functional requirements of the door lock switch and which will be the basis for further development and testing.
