Abstract
Baker in njegove zlitine so v industriji, predvsem avtomobilski, ene izmed najbolj uporabljenih elementov.

Title:Laser welding of copper and copper alloys
Abstract:
Copper and its alloys are in industry, especially automotive, one of the most used elements. The fact that we have called a period of prehistory after it, points its importance. The problems of copper welding are their high reflectivity, high thermal conductivity, and low absorptivity. This makes it extremely difficult to weld even with lasers, as copper needs a more powerful heat source. The purpose of this research is to review the latest scientific literature on copper. A review of laser light on the weldability of copper and copper alloy is done, as well as the influence of shielding gases on copper welding, and metallurgical effects of the weld is discussed. We found that welding copper and copper alloys is appropriate to be welded with a combination of IR and green light or simply with green light. The most appropriate light for copper welding is blue. It has the highest level of absorptivity.
