The present thesis deals with the analysis of a manuscript, found in a village named Osp in 1964, called The Osp passion. It is thought to be written between the years of 1623 and 1675. It consists of two versions of the Book of Matthew, allegedly rewritings. For the means of the analysis, the text was rewritten into digital version in a form of diplomatic transcription, which will be from now on available on the World Wide Web. The thesis consists of research of what the passion is in general, how it falls into the context of a church year and its historical circumstances in connection to the Osp parish. That is followed by a short dictionary of the lesser known words from the text. The second part of the thesis shows the analysis of the manuscript itself and in comparison to the other Bible editions, that were existing in that time.
