Abstract

Title:
Treats for dogs
Abstract:
Life expectancy and health of the dog will also depend of the correct nutrition. Nowadays dogs don't need to search for food, while its ancestors have to earn a living by hunting wild animals, just like today, their carnivorous beasts. We can provide dogs industrially prepared food, which may be in the dry or wet form. We can also provide home prepared food, but then must add vitamin - mineral supplements. We can also offer some of the treats we buy in small animal shops or veterinarians. They can serve as a meaningful complement to the regular foods of our pets. A dog with treats can get additional vitamins, minerals and nutrients that may not be available in regular food. In case there is not enough protein in the regular food, we will additionally offer a treat that contains a large proportion of them, etc. But, treats are largely meant to reward or to spoil our pets. When we reviewed the treats, we found that we should be careful about selection and entry, because we can quickly overcome the daily intake of certain substances, which can lead to the health problems of our dog.
