Master's thesis analyzes the interdisciplinary connection between history and literature in high school educational program. In the theoretical part of the thesis presents the updated learning plan for history (2008) and Slovenian (Literature) (2008). A few words are intended curriculum integration, when and why it is used, how it is used in history lessons and how the teaching of literature and how can interdisciplinary cooperation contribute to lifelong learning. It presented the historical and literary context of the period between 1900 and 1918 (time modern and the First World War), which I explore in greater depth on the basis of transversal alliances in both curricula and textbooks approved for literature and history. The practical part consists of two analysis: (1) analysis of updated curricula for literature and history, and this aspect of Slovenian modern and the First World War and, (2) analysis of confirmed secondary school textbooks, literature and history. They added two more educational preparation for interdisciplinary oriented grammar lesson; the first carrier is subject to Slovenian and the other history.
