Abstract
Zaradi sodobnega načina življenja smo ljudje izpostavljeni različnim težavam sodobnega časa, med katere spadata tudi bolečina v križu in vratu. Bolečine v predelu hrbtenice so pri odrasli populaciji pogost vzrok za iskanje zdravniške pomoči, odsotnosti od dela ter invalidnosti. Ker se ljudje dan danes vse bolj zavedajo, da lahko za svoje zdravje veliko naredijo sami je vse več vadbenih programov, ki so usmerjeni za blaženje in preprečevanje nastanka tovrstnih bolečin. Namen diplomske naloge je bilo raziskati razloge udeleževanja vadbe Zdrava hrbtenica. Zanimalo nas je mnenje udeležencev vodenih vadbenih programov o vrsti in pojavnosti bolečine v hrbtenici, pogostosti obiskovanja vadbe, razlogi za obiskovanje ter pomenu vadbe pri obvladovanju njihove bolečine v hrbtenici. Po pregledu literature smo se lotili raziskave. Preizkušanci so bili osebe stare med 20 in 72 letom, ki se udeležujejo vadbe Zdrava hrbtenica v dveh športnih centrih in sicer Vita center Naklo in Mega Center v Škofji Loki. Vadeče smo seznanili z informacijami in potekom raziskovalnega dela. Posamezniki so izpolnili soglasje, da pristopajo k sodelovanju v raziskavi, po 6 mesečnem programu vadbe Zdrava hrbtenica pa so izpolniti ankete. Anketni vprašalnik je bil sestavljen iz 18 vprašanj na podlagi zaprtega tipa. Pri večini vprašanj je bilo med več možnimi odgovori izbrati le enega, pri štirih vprašanjih več odgovorov, nekaj vprašanj pa je bilo tipa Da/Ne. Vrnjene ankete smo analizirali s pomočjo programa Excel, rezultate primerjali že z obstoječimi raziskavami ter ugotovitve opredelili v diplomskem delu. Rezultati so pokazali, da se je 71% udeležencev že srečalo z bolečino v križu. Med udeleženci se jih je 52% za obiskovanje vadbe odločilo zaradi zmanjšanja bolečin v predelu hrbtu, po končanem programu pa je 78% udeležencev občutilo izboljšanje gibljivosti. Ugotovitve so pokazale, da so bolečine v predelu hrbtenice med najpogostejšimi bolezni, ki prizadenejo človeško populacijo. Najbolj pogosti bolečini sta bolečina v vratu in hrbtu. Rezultati so pokazali, da z vadbo izboljšamo gibljivost, zmanjšamo bolečine in izboljšamo psihično počutje.

Title:RESEARCHING REASONS FOR ATTENDING EXERCISE PROGRAM ZDRAVA HRBTENICA (HEALTHY SPINE)
Abstract:
Modern way of living leaves people more vulnerable to different problems of modern time which includes lower back and neck pain. Lower back pain is a common reason for seeking medical attention, absence from work or disability in adult population. Nowadays, with people being more and more aware of the fact that they can do a lot for their health by themselves, there is an increasing number of exercise programs intended for alleviation and prevention of these sort of pains. The purpose of this thesis was to research reasons for attending exercise program Zdrava hrbtenica (Healthy spine). We wanted to know the opinion of the participants of guided exercise programs about types of back pain and its occurrence, the frequency of attending the exercise program, reasons for attending and the importance of the program for managing their back pains. After reviewing the literature, we began our research. Our test subjects were people aged from 20 to 72 attending the exercise program Zdrava hrbtenica in two separate sports centres: Vita center Naklo and Mega Center in Škofja Loka. The participants were given the information about our research work and its course. The individuals gave the consent to participate in our research. After attending the program Zdrava hrbtenica for 6 months they filled out the questionnaire. The questionnaire consisted of 18 closed-ended questions. Most of the questions allowed choosing only one of the given answers, 4 questions were the type were the participants were able to choose more answers, some of the questions were Yes/No type. We analysed the completed questionnaires with the help of Excel program and compared the results to existing researches and defined the findings in this thesis. The results showed that 71% of the participants have already experienced back pain. 52% of the participants decided to attend the program to alleviate the pain in back area. 78% of the participants felt the improvement in flexibility after finishing the program. The findings have shown that the pain in spine area is one of the most common illnesses affecting the human race. The most common are neck pain and back pain. The results have shown that exercising improves flexibility, alleviates the pain and improves mental well-being.
