The article treats the problem of national revival and literary currents. On the basis of the material of Slavonic literatures, it demonstrates the anomalies of their development, the syncretic character of the poetics of literary currents, and their mutual permeation. The author argues that national revivals are not limited to the 19th century only, but they represent, on the contrary, the phase phenomen which could continue or re-appear. This can have an impact on poetological shape of literature in general and literary currents in particular which might be manifested in Slavonic environment as acceleration or deceleration forming a specific evolutionary paradigm.
