The main objective of the thesis was to develop an online real estate search application that combines data from different web sources. In addition to the search by the basic real estate criteria, the application also allows search by distance from facilities such as kindergarten, primary school, secondary school, higher education institute, health facility, pharmacy, train or bus station, post office and fire station, display of property locations on Google Maps and driving directions between two locations. Users can also login to the application by using their Google accounts and save their favorite search results.
At the beginning of the thesis similar currently available real estate search engines in Slovenia and abroad are introduced. The main part of the thesis gives a description of all tools, technologies and concepts used, a detailed description of the application's functionality and a description of implementation of all functions provided in the application.
