Abstract
Novejši razvoj postopkov hitrega strjevanja kovinskih materialov je omogočil izdelavo povsem novih aluminijevih zlitin. Za industrijsko uporabo sta pomembna postopka izdelave prahov z razprševanjem taline in izdelava trakov s hitrim strjevanjem taline na vrtečem se kolutu. Po postopku hitrega strjevanja smo izdelali skupino aluminijevih zlitin s koncentracijo železa do 8 masnih %. V ta namen smo izdelali napravo za hitro strjevanje na vrtečem se kolutu in na trakovih zlitin aluminija z železom opravili mikrostrukturno in fazno analizo. Raziskali smo mikrostrukturne spremembe po debelini traku v odvisnoti od koncentracije železa in poiskali teoretično razlago za nastalo mikrostrukturo.

Title:Production of rapidly solidified aluminium alloys with high contents of iron
Abstract:
Recent progress in the rapid solidification processing of metallic materials enabled production of new aluminium alloys. The most industrial significant techniques fall into two broad categories: atomization and melt spinning. We prepared aluminium-iron alloys with Fe contents of up to 8 wt pct by rapid solidification. The ribbons used in this work were produced by melt spinning. For a given ribbons we have investigated systematically the rapidly-solidified microstructures. Microstructural changes across the thickness of ribbons were investigated as a function of contents iron in aluminium alloys and the characteristics of solidification structures was theoretically explained.
