This thesis is meant to introduce a conceptual design of sewage system for wastewater and storm water, and a wastewater treatment plant for village of Lucia. We described basic design of the sewage system from planning. We identified various factors that need to be taken into consideration when designing a sewage system. Project area is presented geographically, demographically, hydrologically, and economically.
Considering the existing situation, characteristics of village Lucia, hydrological characteristics of mentioned area, we designed a new concept of sewerage system. By that we also determited capacity of the treatment plant and placement of it in the environment.
For areas of dense settlement and industrial-trade zones in Lucia we planned a mixed sewer system. Through it we would cover the first wave of polluted drainage water and route it to a new sewage treatment plant Lucia. Besides Lucia’s drainage water, the new treatment plant would be capable of processing also the wastewaters from Seča, Malija, and Mala Seva.
