Učinki pouka zgodovinskih tem na oblikovanje slovenske identitete

Abstract
Namen raziskave je preveriti razumevanje in vrednotenje dogajanj, ki se potencialno pojavljajo kot zastavki državne (državotvorne) in nacionalne identitete ter izpostaviti determinante tega vrednotenja, zlasti povezanost med percepcijo sedanjosti in ocenjevanjem tiste preteklosti, ki je izven dometa empirične izkušnje ter je posredovana preko šolskega pouka in družinske socializacije. Raziskovalci so želeli preveriti in oceniti tudi kolikšna je moč in vpliv šolske socializacije. Kot tretje pa so želeli preveriti, koliko je anticipacija in vrednotenje prihodnosti v novih političnih, kulturnih in ekonomskih povezavah povezana s percepcijo sedanjosti ter ocenjevanjem in razumevanjem preteklosti. V kontekstu tega sklopa je bilo preverjeno, kolikšen je mobilnostni potencial generacije, ki vstopa v novo kompetitivno in konkurenčno okolje združene Evrope. Da bi omogočili čim boljšo primerjavo, je bil večji del vprašalnika sestavljen tako, da omogoča medgeneracijsko primerjavo ter tudi mednarodno primerjavo. Pri preverjanju odnosa do preteklosti je vprašalnik grajen na osnovi vprašalnikov odnosa do preteklosti v raziskavah SJM (SJM 95/3, SJM98/2 in SJM 03/1). Pri vprašanju vrednot, javnih vprašanj, političnih orientacij so se raziskovalci upirali na Inglehartovovo mednarodno študijo World Values Survey (WVS 95), ki je bila v Sloveniji aplicirana pod oznako SJM 95/2, ter Europen Values Study, ki je bila pri nas aplicirana kot SJM99/1, kar omogoča mednarodno in slovensko medgeneracijsko primerjavo. Pri preverjanju odnosa do EU so gradili na vprašalnikih SJM, odnos do prihodnosti ter zaznavo integracijskih učinkov pa neposredno na raziskavi Mladina 2000.

Abstract:
The research project is set out to explore perceptions of the past and evaluations of several events which constitute a likely basis of state-building and national identity, as well as identify the determinants for these evaluations, in particular the link between perceptions of the present and evaluations of the past, which is beyond individuals' empirical experience and is conveyed to them through educational system and family socialization. The second aim was to assess the power of influence of educational system socialization. The third goal was to explore, to what extent the anticipation and evaluation of the future is - in the context of new political, cultural and economic circumstances - associated with perceptions of the present and evaluations of the past. One of the questions that was tackled here was also the potential of mobility in the generation which is now entering a new, competitive environment of united Europe.
