This round of Eurobarometer surveys diverged from the standard trends questions, instead focusing on public opinion in the following major areas: the Constitutional Treaty for the European Union, the European Union Lisbon Agenda, attitudes of Europeans towards the environment, services of general interest. Respondents were asked about opportunities on Environmental protection and their personal effort to protect the environment. A number of questions asked regarded the pension system and retirement, related to employment and immigration issues. Respondents were also asked about services of general interest and their quality. How well they can access and whether they can afford to pay for them. The data for standard and trend questions are available for secondary analyses when the full official Eurobarometer report has been published by the European Commission. On the request of the principal investigators certain data on special issues are under embargo, for a maximum of two years, or up to the corresponding publication. In Avgust 2006 the responses to the following questions are under embargo QC1 to QC17 - Vocational training and QE1 to QE12 - Information and communication technology at the workplace. Expected expiry of all embargo provisions not later than January 2007. Please see study profiles for further details on the Eurobarometer study .
