Izvleček
Vsebina mednarodne raziskave ponavlja sklope vprašanj iz prejšnjih izvedb Evropske raziskave vrednot. Posamezni sklopi so prirejeni posebej za tokratno izvedbo. Zajeta so razna področja vrednot in stališč do sodobnih družbenih problemov, kot so religiozne in moralne vrednote, glede vloge žensk, ekologije, neenakost, vzgoje otroki ipd. Več vprašanj je namenjenih tudi politični aktivnosti, pogledom na družbo, ter stopnji integracije posameznika v družbo merjeno skozi sodelovanje v združenjih in društvih, raven zaupanja v družbi in podobno. Zabeležena je družbena distanca do različnih marginalnih skupin, raven zadovoljstva v življenju in odnos do dela. Dodana je obsežen sklop demografskih spremenljivk. Opcijska vprašanja niso bila postavljena v vseh državah. Podrobnosti o tem se da razbrati iz kodirne knjige.

Moral, religious, societal, political, economic and social attitudes, goals, beliefs and values of mass publics in Europe. Topics: the questionnaire contains three parts: Apart from common core questions asked in all countries, a number of optional questions are included as well as some country-specific questions. 1. Common set of questions: Leisure time: importance of spheres of life; feeling of happiness; memberships and active participation in clubs, political parties, associations, citizens' initiatives and professional organisations; social networks in the leisure time; tolerance towards minorities, people of different faith and foreigners; interpersonal trust; locus of control (scalometer); general satisfaction with life (scalometer). Politics: party preference; attitude towards foreign employees in the respondent's country; fear of the future; assimilation and integration of immigrants; idea of justice; interest in political news in the media; individualism and public spirit; political interest; political participation; self-assessment on a left-right scale (scalometer); self-responsibility (scalometer); attitude towards freedom of competition and free enterprise (scalometer); satisfaction with democracy; attitude towards the country's present political system and evaluation of the country's past political system (scalometer); preference for a democratic political system or a strong leadership of a single politician (scale); attitude towards democracy (scale) (optional question).
