The Master's thesis focuses on the importance of integrated transport strategies for large traffic generators. It aims to examine the concept of a mobility plan as an integrated transport strategy tool and its implementation regarding the selected company in the Savska Loka industrial zone in Kranj. A mobility plan distances itself from traditional transport planning, focusing on the modern approach to mobility management based on soft measures and addressing the change of behavioural patterns in traffic. Initially, the thesis defines the fundamental characteristics of mobility plans in a legislative framework and their presence in various spatial planning acts, while focusing on the connection of transport and spatial planning. It is followed by a step-by-step presentation of the working process and an overview of established practices in Slovenia and abroad. The result of the thesis is a mobility plan for a selected company based on realistic baselines and challenges. Thorough analyses of transport infrastructure, employee travelling habits and accessibility established crucial challenges and opportunities, which provided the key points for the outlined vision and formulated operational goals and target values of the mobility plan. A wide range of specifically targeted measures for the selected company was designed to improve accessibility for all forms of mobility and encourage employees to adopt more sustainable travelling habits. With the study of the concept and realisation of a mobility plan for the selected area, the Master's thesis encourages an integrated and sustainable approach in future transport planning and management.
