ANALIZA VPLIVA NOVE ŽELEZNIŠKE INFRASTRUKTURE NA RAZVOJ LUKE KOPER

To delo zajema pregled obstoječega stanja slovenske železniške infrastrukture in njene zmogljivosti. Kaže na njeno neustreznost za zahtevnejši obseg kapacitet in kakovost, ki ju bo v prihodnosti zahteval tovorni promet zaradi povečanja tovora Luke Koper. Predstavljeni so gradbeni projekti nadgradnje prog v slovenskem železniškem omrežju, ki bodo izvršeni do leta 2030 za spodbujanje železniškega prometa v smereh Koper–Ljubljana–srednja/zahodna Evropa. Opravljena je kvantitativna analiza o pretovoru po za enkrat še neizgrajeni železniški infrastrukturi, da bi se ugotovilo, ali bo ta lahko zadostovala potrebam razvoja koprskega pristanišča. Pokazalo se je, da bo na novem železniškem omrežju lahko prihajalo do pojava ozkih grl na odsekih proge Sežana–Ljubljana.

• Title: IMPACT ANALYSIS OF NEW RAILWAY INFRASTRUCTURE ON PORT OF KOPER DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

This work includes a review of the current state of Slovenian rail infrastructure and its capacity, which shows that it is not capable of meeting the increased capacity and quality that future freight traffic will require as a result of the growing cargo volumes of the Port of Koper. Construction projects for upgrading lines in the Slovenian rail network to be implemented by 2030 to promote rail traffic in the Koper - Ljubljana - Central/Western Europe routes are presented. A quantitative analysis of the throughput on the as yet unbuilt rail infrastructure is carried out to determine whether it will be able to meet the needs for the development of the Port of Koper. It has been shown that the new rail network may create bottlenecks on sections of the Sežana - Ljubljana line.
