New media art are processes, performances, programs and applications which often require active participation from users, that means that they are interactive. In such projects, artistic research combines with technological and scientific approaches, and broadens the scope that we have seen in the past as an art. An artist is in a flood of new information technologies forced to speed up the processing and more demanding teaching that would satisfy both, critics of our time and requirements of the public. The artist must be dynamic and flexible and able to create performative and modular piece of art. New media artist has become a programmer and hacker and sees interpretation of art as experimentation and exploration of the thin border between the established forms and new areas. New media art is placed on the area, which also has the scientific, the political and social implications. Artists with new media artworks, are entering on a different level of life. With the use of a new technologies we are torn between the virtuality and the physical reality, where we have as artists, available new forms of action in the augmented and mixed reality.
