20.500.12556/RUL-177366 Greening the gateways sustainable development of Adriatic and Ionian ports The Adriatic and Ionian Seas form an important maritime corridor for European transport and act as a natural bridge between the major container traffic flows in the Mediterranean and the European continent. As container throughput continues to grow, the urgency to develop a modern, efficient and sustainable port infrastructure in this area has increased significantly. This strategically favorable geographical location has increased the attractiveness of the region for global shipping and logistics companies looking to reduce transit times and transport costs. Furthermore, in the face of growing geopolitical tensions and environmental challenges, the Adriatic-Ionian region is increasingly recognized as a resilient alternative in global supply chains. The ports in the Adriatic-Ionian basin thus serve not only as critical access points to European markets, but also as fundamental elements for improving the continent’s logistical sovereignty and climate resilience. It is therefore important that ports are developed quickly and in line with environmental requirements. port Adriatic-Ionian region environmental indicator jadransko-jonska regija pomorski koridor trajnostni razvoj dobavne verige true false true Angleški jezik Slovenski jezik Članek v reviji 2025-12-22 09:09:37 2025-12-22 09:09:41 2026-02-09 08:46:47 0000-00-00 00:00:00 2025 0 0 Str. 505-512 Vol. 91 2025 0000-00-00 Zaloznikova Objavljeno NiDoloceno 0000-00-00 0000-00-00 0000-00-00 656.6 2352-1465 10.1016/j.trpro.2025.10.065 262373635 266631427 1-s2.0-S2352146525007264-main.pdf 1-s2.0-S2352146525007264-main.pdf 1 90DC2CCF355E9FC577C41BEECAF42915 f5da98c9b21f2cf0e49fa8bfd1fa586c7f7ac535c0dfbfc74214e37419f5a0ba 6e53d27b-df0d-11f0-9328-0050569b8976 https://repozitorij.uni-lj.si/Dokument.php?lang=slv&id=224343 https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2352146525007264 1 1e08d024-df0d-11f0-9328-0050569b8976 https://repozitorij.uni-lj.si/Dokument.php?lang=slv&id=224340 Fakulteta za pomorstvo in promet 0 0 0
